Perennial Blue is a very robust rambler rose. Despite the name, it is by no means blue, but purple. If you cut the flowers off after the first blossom, they will bloom again (if not there will be charming, small orange rose hips)
The red phenomenon is an absolutely robust, mega-hardy and shade-tolerant variety. The flowers are deep dark red and the plant is full of the dark-colored, black-blue dyes from the anthocyanin group. Even the leaf veins shimmer red and when you cut the rose you can see that even the stems inside are deep red.
